There are several ways of using the kit:-
  1. Use the Instant Search at the top of this page or the Basic search or Advanced search.
  2. Here is a Firefox Extension for Mozilla Firefox, providing a useful kit of eBay tools. (Register with Firefox Add-ons first).
  3. Here is a Greasemonkey Script for Mozilla Firefox, to add "Map-Search" buttons to eBay pages. (Install Greasemonkey first).
  4. To use the browser's search bar, here are some Open Search Plugins (compatible with Mozilla Firefox 2+ / Internet Explorer 7).
  5. Here is a "bookmarklet" for linking from eBay to ASK with a single click: ASK-Map Items
    Drag it onto the Bookmarks Toolbar (Firefox) or Personal Bar (Opera) or right-click and save as a favorite (Internet Explorer).
    To use the bookmarklet, click on it when the eBay search results (or a single item listing) are in the browser.
  6. Search eBay then type www.auctionsearchkit.co.uk/search.php? into the address bar, just before the eBay results page URL.
  7. Try out these example searches: Cars nearby, Collection only nearby, UK Property, Overseas Property, US Property
